Those wacky internets...

I have a suspicion that I shan't be found on Facebook. There are multiple reasons for this.
1. What would I do with it?
Some of you may have noticed that most of what I put here has to do with Milliways or Heroes, neither of which seems like it would do well in a Facebook status. I'm not all that interested in networking, nor do I think I'd be very good at it. (If nothing else, I have a terrible memory for faces and nonfictional names.)
2. But... But... My name!
I don't want to get my name out in the same circles as my kd7sov-identity. There are a few people - family, mostly - who know both, but I prefer to keep them separate.
I do use my name for a few online things, but in an entirely different area; mostly to do with church or school things.
3. What would it do with me?
I know myself something like well enough to know that if I got onto Facebook, I'd spend about three weeks straight playing some of the various hosted games, two to six months poring through the Flair archives, and then abandon it for several months at a stretch.
So no, I think Facebook isn't for me.
