Dear Lego Bionicle people,
If you're going to reintroduce the same characters, and imply that they haven't undergone any significant transformations in the interim, you really ought to have the decency to make them look similar to their old appearance.
As a metaphor: I can tell the difference between Michael Jordan and James Earl Jones, even though they're both famous black people. If you were to put Michael Jordan behind the Darth Vader mike, I would know something was wrong.
Let's look mainly at Lewa Nuva. Your blurb in the catalog and Club Magazine claims that he's still wearing the Nuva Mask of Levitation. Why, then, does it look more like a combination of the Great Mask of Concealment and the Great Mask of Water-Breathing? (Similarly, didn't Tahu have the Mask of Time last we heard? Then why does it seem to be calling itself the Mask of Speed and attaching itself to Pohatu's face?) Lewa, when he became a Nuva, gained what Pohatu referred to as "air katana 'wings'" that, in combination with his mask, let him fly on wind currents. This was in keeping with his position as Toa of Wind. Why, then, does he now need a jetpack, which has little if anything to do with wind? No, wait, I know: it's because the katana in his left hand has mutated (like the rest of him), while his right hand is holding a gun. News flash: Toa don't need guns. You may have forgotten, since they haven't appeared in the magazine comic since the Toa Metru became Hordika, but Toa have elemental powers. We have, on more than one occasion, seen these used as ranged attacks. I admit that since you now seem to have an unhealthy obsession with making your characters fly, Onua could have some problems there, but.
And really, the reintroduced Toa should bear some resemblance to their prior appearances.
