It's quite interesting to notice which journals I recognize on which interest lists, and where from. It's particularly interesting to see which people share several of my interests without my having encountered them anywhere on LJ.

One of these days I want to find out what sorting algorithm LJ uses for the entries on the interest lists.

I've long thought of my online self as "Kd7". This is because, frankly, while "kd7sov" makes a great unique identifier, there's no real way to pronounce it in under five syllables.

But people in Crackchat, via some sort of communal osmosis, almost universally call me "KD".

Thus we come to today, when I was greeted in Crackchat as "Kd7"... and wondered, for a split moment, who was being addressed. Apparently my online self now has a subsection that is not Kd7, but KD.

Current Mood: intrigued

I have a suspicion that I shan't be found on Facebook. There are multiple reasons for this.

So no, I think Facebook isn't for me.

You know, sometimes I amaze myself by remembering that nearly everything I currently do on the Internet descends, in one way or another, from a single Google search.

I'm not quite sure how the timeline works, but parts of it have to have happened at particular points.

So that's how I got to at least a lot of where I am today.
