Here's how this will work. I, having never seen the movie in question, look at the balance of tropes in the trailer and make predictions about the movie. Then, if you so choose, you can tell me how close I am.
For the record, I can't seem to find the trailer I'm working from on YouTube.
The guy in the skull mask is clearly the villain. He's the one who froggified Protag-Male, and either lied about the method of reversal or let P-M draw his own conclusions based on folklore.
At some point Skull Mask will be defeated by bayou animals, probably ending up either drowning or eaten by a gator. (I don't remember for sure how it turned out in Rescuers, but I predict a similar situation.)
About two-thirds through the film, Protag-Fem will find some way to return to human form. She may or may not take advantage of it at some point, but at an imploring look - probably from P-M, unless he's also homofied - she will decide to remain a frog.
P-F will attempt at least twice to contact people who know her as a human; no such attempt will go well.
There will be a scene, probably about forty seconds long, involving dodging traffic.
