Wow. How did I not notice that before?

One of the most commonly-memorized verses of scripture among Latter-Day Saints is 1 Nephi 3:7, which teaches that for every commandment the Lord gives, He opens a way to fulfill it. In my Institute class today (LDS Institute is... complicated to explain to someone who hasn't grown up with a lifelong religious education program, but I'll try if someone asks) I was checking some cross-references and noticed that another scripture we like, from the Old Testament book of Amos, has the same chapter and verse (Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.)
It seemed to me like a really interesting connection. I haven't checked to see if other 3:7s tend to be doctrinally significant, but either way it's nice to notice.
