ceitfianna. Pick a line below and one of my characters, and you'll get something short and ficlet-ish.
My characters, for reference, are Felix from Golden Sun, Frederic from The Pirates of Penzance, and Kain Highwind from Final Fantasy IV. Alternately, I might find it possible to use an OC or some other, less headvoice-y fandom character. I leave the choice to you.
And now, the lines.
1) come up through the summer rain
2) paint myself in blue and red and black and gray
3) when everybody loves you, you can never be lonely
4) try to keep myself away from me
5) lay me down in a field of flame and heather
6) three thousand five hundred miles away
7) seven for a secret never to be told
8) love is a ghost train rumbling through the darkness
9) but what would you change if you could?
10) out of the lightning dream
11) the contrast of white on white
12) step out the front door like a ghost
13) in between the moon and you
14) will you catch if I'm falling?
15) under the gun
16) the crumbling distance between wrong and right
17) beside the green apple sea
18) feathered by the moonlight
19) there's a bird that nests inside you
20) sleeping underneath your skin
21) when you open up your wings to speak
22) I wish you'd let me in
23) I belong in the service of the queen
24) I'm almost drowning in her sea
25) memories are films about ghosts
26) folded, and unfolded, and unfolding
27) give me your black sky
28) "It's the breathing, it's the breathing in and out and in and..."
29) all my innocence is wasted on the dead and dreaming
30) I wanted to see you walking away from me
31) someday I'm going to stay, but not today...
