365 character questions: day 2
Continuing to answer one of the 365 character questions per day, here is October 11.
Simply put, Felix would kill it. Depending on how quickly he woke up, he might use his sword or he might impale/crush it with a rock. He's definitely of a high enough level that he can one-shot any of the spiders that are canonically in the games, even though - oddly - the only one in his game is the lowest-level one, which is non-venomous.
Kain, I think, would start by jumping. He's good at that. If he can manage it, he would land on the spider, spearpoint first. Depending how it looked afterward, he might see if he could roast and eat it - no real point wasting potential food in the wilderness, and many poisonous things become safe when cooked. (He would probably be well-advised to not do this without a white mage nearby, but he might not think of this.)
